Morten Kromberg shows enhancements to futures and isolates for Dyalog version 17.0. After a quick introduction, he demonstrates building a Linux Virtual Machine with Dyalog installed and launching it on Amazon Web Services’ Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2). Finally he uses parallel each (ll.EachX in the isolate workspace since 16.0) with Virtual Machines as isolate servers.
